Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Thick peat let's you know you've got a serious Islay single malt. Fruitier, creamier, soft rich oak and soothing custard and vanilla.
Palate: Oily black smoke with a rich, heavy, mouth-coating peaty feel. Then, along comes a sweet, sticky flavour of barbecued bananas, tangy sultanas and dried fruits.
Finish: Long peaty finish with authentic Spanish sherry oakiness. Sharp salty at the end.
