Every time you try to join two boards together, the hole goes awry again.

Anyone who has ever made wooden joints knows the frustrating outcome: the drill slips, the dowel holes are misaligned, and the connection wobbles. With this self-centering dowel drilling jig made of aluminum alloy, you simply position the guide against the side of the board and immediately drill the perfectly aligned hole – no marking, no measuring, and a clean result on the first try.

Benefits

  • Never measure again: The jig automatically centers itself on the side of the board, so you will never have to rework misaligned dowel holes or discard joints again.
  • Save hours of work time: Thanks to the direct, secure application without preparation, the time-consuming tasks of marking, centering, and correcting are completely eliminated.
  • No more doubts about stability: Hardened steel bushings and the sturdy aluminum housing ensure a long service life, so you don’t have to worry about worn guides or unusable tools.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 70 mm × 58 mm
  • Jig material: Aluminum alloy
  • Bushing material: Hardened steel
  • Colors: Red, Black
  • Available sets: 4-piece, 9-piece
  • Scope of delivery: 1× woodworking dowel jig

Application

  1. Application: Place the jig against the side of the board and align it so it self-centers – it automatically adjusts to the thickness of the wood.
  2. Drilling: Insert the drill through the appropriate steel bushing and drill the dowel hole to the desired depth.
  3. To connect: Repeat the process on the second board, insert the dowel, and align both parts perfectly together.

Pro Tip: Clamp the jig to the workpiece with a small C-clamp before drilling – this prevents slipping, especially on end grain, and ensures an even cleaner result.
