Mexican culture is the cornerstone of Casa Modelo. In 1925, Modelo started brewing beer for the hard-working people of Mexico and continues to do so today in the United States. From traditional customs to modern celebrations, they have been holding true to their roots and brewing beer for those who believe in better. It's a fixture at major holidays, family celebrations, and friendly get-togethers from Sonora to Chiapas. Since the first bottle came off the assembly line in 1925, Modelo has been brewed with the fighting spirit. Modelo Chelada is crafted to deliver an authentic and refreshing michelada experience. The michelada is a Mexican cerveza preparada that typically includes a variation of tomato, salt, lime, and of course, Mexican beer. People often add different flavors and spices to make micheladas uniquely their own. Different areas of Mexico even have their own subtle preference based on the flavors popular in that region. The different varieties of Modelo Chelada are inspired by these nuances, which have affected michelada culture for generations. Every ingredient, every flavor, and every subtle distinction ties to authentic Mexican micheladas. Modelo has fought to put all the flavors of a traditional michelada into a convenient, ready-to-drink can so you may enjoy a true michelada experience wherever and whenever you want.
